This is what is happening right now in my country, Argentina. This is our way to protest against the group of people that is now in charge of the country. We have reunited in every single city of the country, and we hope this to have some repercutions. Also, there have been protest around the world in our support: Singapour, Norway, USA , Australia, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Canada, England, France, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, and others

Our president, Mrs. Cristina Fernández Kirchner, isn’t even here to listen to us, because she prefers to travel to Venezuela than to listen to the people who has -supposedly- chose her. We’re under the government of the Kirchner’s family (she and her dead husband, Nestor Kirchner) since 2003. Ten years, and we have to wait 2 more until her mandate ends. We also don’t know if this will end some day, she has the idea of change the law so she can be reelected, or she will put her son Maximo as the face of her political campaign.

We’ve done this to protest against infinite things: poverty increased every day, security doesn’t exist anymore, we can’t import things -specially medicines, which is terrible because we don’t produce them and deaths increased-, most of the people lives from social benefits instead of work.

But specially, we protest agains two big things:

In the last few days, there have come to light what we have always known. Our president is stealing money from our country and putting it in bank accounts in the known “tax havens”, so she doesn’t have to pay taxes. She have increased her patrimony a 980% in the last 10 years, and she can’t explain how. Well, gess what: she have been stealing our money.

She want to take out the democracy of the Judiciary, and won’t let the people put precautionary measures against the government. Also, she have the control of the Congress and she can make law almost everything she want, so is really probaly that this will be a fact in a few days. Do you want to know the best part: If this happens, we will no longer be a Republic, and we’ll live in a facto state.

Sorry if this bother you, I just want you to know what is happening here, because I don’t know if lately we’ll be able to freely express ourselves.
